Sons of Sanguinius.

The other things sitting on my painting table at the moment are reinforcements for my Blood Angels.

First up

Zedrenael,
Lord of Skyfall,
Captain of the 8th Company, the "Bloodblades"
of the Blood Angels chapter
of the Emperors Adeptus Astartes

Now there's a mouthful after a few drinks. . .

His Honor guard, the "Champions of Skyfall"

The captain and honor guard are kitted for butchering infantry and hopefully won't require any tweaks with the new rules changes. They will be taking over from my Sanguinary guard lead by Dante, which I've been using upto now, as I'm aiming for the complete 8th company along with support options.

I entered Dante and the Sanguinary guard into my local club's (Eastbourne elemental) painting competition last year where they placed 3rd. This picture is the one that Lawrence took at the club and has much better lighting than I can achieve at home!

I've also had some of those support options getting some paint this week including a new toy in the form of the Stormtalon, not strictly usable by the Blood Angels but meh... All the support for my company will be skimmers and flyers as they fit the theme nicely and can keep up with the jump infantry over all types of terrain.

Thanks for reading, happy gaming and good hunting!

Cruel intentions

Well with the completion of the Nurgle project I've had some time to work on this (not-so) lovely lady, along with a few other things.

My cruel lady is from ragingheroes.com, she is the 28mm sci-fi Asharah and will make a perfect Dark Eldar Archon . I also have an Azumi from studiomcvey which I will be using as a Lhamaean for my Archon's court, the Studios paint scheme is shown below. . .

In the Garden of Nurgle Part 2

The Nurgle lovin is complete :D and damn disgusting it is to if I do say so myself.

The predator...

Rhino number one...

Rhino number two...

And finally some pictures of the dreadnought, the glue is still drying in some areas.

Disturbingly this was a thoroughly enjoyable project to do and I'm considering a defiler as the next target for some Nurgle Love.

Good hunting

And tho I walk through the valley of the garden of Nurgle.

The inaugural post of what is sure to be a disturbing experience for all...

So as you may have guessed from the title this is Nurgle related.... a sculpting and conversion commission to bring pappa Nurgle's own brand of love to some Chaos Space marine vehicles. So without further ado onto the important bit, the pictures!

This was the first rhino and is largely completed in the above pictures. The sand will be painted in as rust which is a technique that I experimented with on my own Nurgle Warriors/chosen and when painted brings excellent texture to the piece.

Here we have the second rhino which is further away than the first from completion in these pictures. The loyalist space marine that is being dragged inside was built from spare Blood Angels parts to match the army of the clients regular opponent.

And finally the predator. As you may guess I was inspired  by the Pus cannon on the Nurgle baneblade variant for this one :D
I am also working on a Dreadnought for the client which I will get pictures of later this week along with the finished pictures of the vehicles shown so far.

Farewell and good hunting
