Knight Paladin Perfectus
Perfectus is bonded to the Emperor's Children legion and has adopted the colours and emblems of the 3rd. He has plenty of oaths of moment all over his armour but concentrated on his shield with proudly displays the winged claw of the legion. The emblem is a cobination of a spare blood angels wing a with a greenstuffed claw.

A gaggle of Wyverns.
Gaggle sounds so much better than squadron right? :P The barrels haven't got the little barrel ends on so the hydra autocannons can still be slid into the barrels should air defence be required.
And a modified Taurox, apparently no-one likes the quad tracks so I was asked to swap them out for this Kromlec wheels to turn it into a half track :) Options pinned/magnetised.
Thank you for looking, happy gaming!

The wall
What every guardsmen needs is a mighty bulwark. . . . to hide behind. Unless of course a Commissar is watching in which case its a glorious defence of an structure that belongs to the Emperor!
Still an Aquila strong point to come and a bastion, but the fortifications are nearly done. Just need a few finishing touches such as text on the banners of the fire storm redoubts and they are ready for war!
So when complete this complex will consist of....
The Aquila strong point, a bastion, a trench line, an emplacement. 2 fire storm redoubts, 2 vengeance batteries and a bunker. A fine place for any guardsmen to gloriously cower!

Back with a vengeance!
Well back with a vendetta at least :P
So one has been away for sometime, still painting but distracted with kids and all those other 'life' things that get in the way of hobby :P So back with a vendetta commission which is the first completed part of a large Imperial guard army, with a dozen or so vehicles and 100 infantry still to come along with fortifications.
Without further rambling, on with the show!
So we intend to keep the blog up to date from now on and with a stash of pictures from my 'blogging holiday' it should mean I can keep things lively :P

Bring in the big guns!
I've finally gotten round to finishing a few things for my Imperial guard armour. Largely started to be used as allies for my space wolves I'm keeping light on infantry and heavy on vehicles. The next thing I intend to add is some air support as this is an area that the space wolves are sorely lacking, they prefer to fight with their feet firmly on the ground as Russ intended after all. A Vendetta squadron or two is looking very tempting :D
But for now we have the finest armour the guard can provide. Starting with that work horse of the forty first millennium the Leman Russ.
This is the 3rd Tank, of A company, of the Valhallan 42nd armoured, the 'Ice Bears'.
And secondly some serious fire power in the form of a shadow sword / Storm lord / Well its all magnetised so take your pick :P.
This is the 1st tank of the Valhallan 32nd super heavy tank regiment.
Next up is a likely to be a unit of veterans with a vendetta to get them around, along with a commisar this will make the force legal as an allied detachmrnt for normal 40k games, minus the shadow sword of course.
Thanks for looking and happy wargaming.

Roll out.
Bar finishing the bases (and the eyes on the last daemon smith which I noticed looking at the pics I missed) the artillery train is ready to roll out.
Thanks for looking,
Stu
